Boxes for Charity: ODDA x Bvlgari

ODDA magazine has teamed up with the renowned jewelry house Bvlgari to create a singular version of the “You, Me and Everyone We Know” issue of the publication for charity.

A transparent plexiglass box, engraved with the ODDA and Bvlgari logo will be the home to a one-of-a-kind version of the magazine. It features both a never-before-published photo of Drew Barrymore from the 90s shot by the acclaimed photographer Mark Seliger and signed by the actress as well as a chic pitch-black leather Bvlgari Serpenti bag. The scales of the iconic head of the snake clasp are delineated in white, gray, and black enamel while its hypnotic eyes shimmer in black Onyx.

The design of this unique collaboration speaks to the isolated world we live in today. How almost everything we see or do is now perceived through a protective yet transparent barrier  — a window, a plexiglass panel, a screen — so that we are at once connected and separate. But the box also underlines the notion that the only way forward is through the authenticity of transparency. A future of hope is bound to the world giving back to Mother Nature and lifting up our fellow man by paying forward the help each of us has received in our lives.

This is why ODDA and Bvlgari have decided that all proceeds of the sale of this one-of-a-kind box will be donated to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, one of Africa’s oldest wildlife charities and a leading conservation organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world’s most precious wildlife.
